Restuarant Lead (Manager in Training)
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Lead (MIT) to join our team. As a Restaurant Lead, you will assist in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of food quality and cleanliness. This is a leadership role that requires excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively supervise and train staff members.
Duties:
- Assist in managing all aspects of the restaurant, including food preparation, bartending, catering, and banquet services
- Oversee shift management and ensure smooth operations during busy periods
- Supervise and train staff members on food handling procedures, customer service, and POS systems
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional manner
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies for improving restaurant performance
- Assist in inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling costs
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is required
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety standards
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proven leadership abilities with experience in supervising a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
