Overview:

The Leasing Professional is responsible for coordinating all activities related to apartment rentals, move-ins and move-outs, and lease renewals. This position is also responsible for interacting directly with prospective and current residents to achieve maximum occupancy and ensure resident retention.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Generate and maintain accurate and detailed records of traffic, follow up with all prospective residents, qualify applicants, lease apartments, prepare lease documentation, and complete move-in paperwork and procedures.
• Collect rental deposits and rent.
• Ensures models, make-readies, and designated show apartments are in touring condition daily.
• Communicates, as requested and with approval, on social media and on-line advertising sites.
• Processes renewal paperwork and ensures documentation is delivered to current residents as required.
• Ensures excellent customer service to prospective and current tenants and promotes a quality living experience for all residents.
• Creates and maintains confidential resident files, completes weekly leasing reports in accurate and timely fashion.
• Assists with processing work order requests for residents and ensures work is completed in a timely manner.
• Supports management by providing clerical support such as answering phone calls, filing, and processing property invoices, as needed.
• Assist with planning and implementing resident activities in order to increase resident retention and resident relations requests.
• Assists with monitoring property curb appeal and assists the manager with reducing liability to residents/guest/employees and vendors.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous Leasing or customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; ability to relate to others.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Current driver’s license and automobile insurance.
• Experience with Entrata a plus.
