We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. The Dental Assistant will provide chair-side assistance to the dentist during dental procedures and ensure the highest level of patient care. The ideal candidate will have experience with aseptic technique, infection control, medical documentation, and dental assisting.Duties:
- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures by sterilizing and arranging instruments and equipment
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures by handing instruments, maintaining suction, and providing patient comfort
- Take and develop dental x-rays using dental imaging software
- Perform basic laboratory duties such as pouring impressions and fabricating temporary crowns
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Dentrix or similar dental software
- Adhere to strict infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant preferred
- Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental software
- Knowledge of Trios/Itero software for creating digital impressions is a plus
- Familiarity with anatomy and dental terminology
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program or equivalent experience
- Current CPR certification
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
