Job Summary:In this role as HR Recruiting Coordinator, you will support the Operations focused HR Business Partner and the hourly workforce in our Syracuse, NY manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities:- Act as the day-to-day contact for hourly employees by answering questions, providing necessary paperwork and guidance in a professional manner.
- Lead all recruitment for non-technical hourly operations roles, including temp recruitment.
- Partner with staffing agencies and establish strong working relationships.
- Administer temp orientation and assist with new hire hourly orientation as needed.
- Maintain postings on Careers page of company website.
- Schedule drugscreens and perform background checks as needed based on role.
- Work with vendors for company discount programs.
- Handle plant locker assignments for hourly staff.
- Assist with administrative department duties such as crating employee badges, filing of personnel documents, department staples order, etc.
Required Skills and Experience- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Human Resources or an administrative support role.
- Associate#s degree inHuman Resources or related Business field preferred.
- Prior recruitment experience preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills required.
- Exceptional computer skills and speed, as well as attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills including effective communication.
- High degree of initiative, attention to detail and excellent follow-up.
