As a supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our Support Specialists, ensuring the implementation of treatment goals, and maintaining open communication with Wraparound Agencies. Responsibilities

• Direct oversight of Support Specialists
• Completion of weekly quality assurance measures
• Ensuring effective documentation of meetings with families by Support Specialists
• Maintaining open communication with Wraparound Agencies
• Ensuring correct implementation of treatment goals and interventions from the Plan of Care
• Conducting marketing and community outreach
• Conducting monthly staff meetings and supervisions with Support Specialists
• Providing ongoing education and training to Support Specialists
• Using computer interface for documentation and billing purposes
• Returning phone calls promptly and following all safety rules
• Providing individual Support Specialist services in the community when required
• Participating in the youths Child Family Team meeting
• Assisting in teaching problem-solving skills, coping mechanisms, and strategies for youth’s symptoms and behavior management
• Helping implement the youths Plan of Care on an ongoing basis
• Communicating parent’s status on a regular basis

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a human services field or a bachelor’s degree in any field with two years of full-time experience working with family, children/youth, or community service capacity
• Self-identification as a current or former consumer of mental health services
• Demonstration of a minimum of 6 months in self-directed recovery within the last year
• Successful completion of parent support training and Behavioral Services of Louisiana Required Trainings
• Completion of Parent Support Supervisor Training
