Behavioral Health Network, Inc. is Hiring an Assistant Program Director Near Westfield, MA

Under the general direction of the ACCS Clinical Program Director, the Assistant Program Director is responsible for the overall clinical and administrative supervision of ACCS team staff and functions, including day-to-day oversight of the program, supervision of staff, scheduling, personnel management, and program quality and development.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assists in the development and ongoing review of treatment plans for individuals served.
  • Acts as liaison to all relevant areas mental health and non-mental health agencies and programs.
  • Attends all relevant meetings.
  • Implements other clinical or administrative tasks as may be assigned by Clinical Program Director.

What are we looking for in a Program Director?

  • Master’s Degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling or Marriage and Family Therapy required.
  • Broad knowledge of mental illness and treatment techniques, particularly severely and persistently mentally ill adults, severely emotionally disturbed children, substance use disorders, and the impact of social determinants of overall health.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of supervisory experience
  • Licensure is preferred (Licensed Psychologist, LICSW, LMHC, LMFT) If unlicensed, the Assistant Program Director will work towards attainment of their independent licensed as required by the program. Minimum of two years’ experience working with the above populations.
  • Knowledge of mental illness, the interface between mental health and medical conditions and systems, substance abuse, and care management. Must have familiarity with internet, word processing and emails systems.
