Behavioral Health Network, Inc. is Hiring an AMCI Clinician Near Springfield, MA

Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a AMCI Clinician in the Mobile Crisis Interventionprogram at Behavioral Health Network!
Your experience, knowledge and great skills will support the Mobile Crisis Intervention program with the following:
  • Providing in-person behavioral health crisis assessment, intervention, stabilization, and post-stabilization services to all recipients of AMCI (21 years of age and older) services within the community, regardless of clinical acuity.
  • Working with a multidisciplinary team to determine the course of treatment, which minimally includes a psychiatrist, clinical program director, qualified behavioral health clinician, certified peer specialist, and recovery coach.
  • Identifying and implementing strategies that maximize utilization of community-based diversionary services and reduce unnecessary inpatient psychiatric hospitalization in a manner that is consistent with medical necessity criteria.
  • Ensuring AMCI recipients fully understand treatment recommendations.
  • Providing clinical consultation to other clinicians performing crisis evaluations.
What are we looking for in an AMCI Clinician?
  • Master’s Degree in Social Work or Psychology (required).
  • 2 years of previous crisis experience (preferred).
  • Must have a current state driver’s license and pass a driving record review (required).
  • Must have reliable transportation during each shift to provide community-based services.

Mobile Crisis Intervention (MCI):
The Mobile Crisis Intervention program provides crisis intervention and stabilization services to children and adolescents in the Westfield area. The MCI program through BHN is the designated Emergency Service Provider for the Southern Pioneer Valley.
