The Assistant Clinical Director is Independently licensed and experienced clinician who supervises the staff doing clinical and outreach work. In this role you could also work directly with a family, if the program wants that flexibility.
Responsibilities
What you'll Do? ...
- You will provide Clinical Oversight and supervision. This will include training, mentoring, coaching and fidelity monitoring of staff who will be expected to incorporate evidence-based practices.
- Ensuring the program adheres to clinical and other regulations and requirements of licensing and funding sources.
- Maintaining communication with funding sources or other contracts, as appropriate at the direction of the Clinical Director.
- Attending and participating in staff meetings, in-services, and mandatory trainings. Providing effective ongoing evaluation of staff performance, and institutes appropriate discipline as needed.
- Minimum of a Master’s degree in a mental health related field.
- Independently licensed clinician, LICSW, LMHC, LMFT.
- 2 years' experience in working with families preferred.
- knowledge of working with children with Serious Emotional Disturbance and relevant treatment techniques. CANS-MA certified.
