BedRock Preschool is Hiring a Daycare Assistant Teacher Near Bronx, NY
We are looking for a motivated professional that is passionate about early education to join our school as an Infant / Toddler team. In this position, you assist the primary classroom teacher with activities and learning exercises and help them maintain a friendly, inclusive atmosphere for all students.
Responsibilities
- Assist primary teacher with activities and instruction
- Maintain records of student health and sleep checks
- Help keep learning areas tidy and safe
- Provide a welcoming, inclusive learning atmosphere for all students
- Diaper changing
Qualifications
- Experience working with young children in a licensed educational environment
- A passion for early childhood education and helping children grow in positive ways
- Excellent communication skills
- Early Childhood Credits is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $33,280.00 - $35,360.00 per year
Benefits:
- Health insurance
- Paid time off
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No nights
Experience:
- Teaching: 1 year (Required)
- Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
