Job Summary

In this role, you will assist project field engineering with data automation and tool maintenance activities, manual data entry in construction automation tools, and reviewing engineering and construction data for quality and completeness.

You will contribute to enhancing construction processes through technology integration and increased efficiency and precision in project execution. #LI-CL1

Major Responsibilities :

Level 1

• Performs review of engineering and construction data for quality and completeness in support of one or more Field Engineering / Field Supervision disciplines on a small to medium project .
• Performs data and automation tool maintenance activities under the direction / guidance of the Construction Automation Specialist / Lead or Lead Field Engineer .
• Performs manual data entry in construction automation tools under the direction / guidance of the Construction Automation Specialist / Lead or Lead Field Engineer vendor data and take offs .
• Quantity progress reporting.
• Work package status .
• Punch listing and turnover .

Level 2

• Performs review of engineering and construction data for quality and completeness in support of multiple Field Engineering / Field Supervision disciplines on a large project .
• Performs data and automation tool maintenance activities under minimal direction / guidance of the Construction Automation Specialist / Lead or Lead Field Engineer vendor data and take offs .
• Punch listing and turnover .
• Applies knowledge and experience to improve and tailor support of construction field work processes.
• Support and implement the construction automation tools on the projects.

Education and Experience Requirements :

Level 1

• Requires a minimum of 4-6 years of related experience.
• Associate degree or related technical training preferred.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check, including verification of employment, education, and travel.
• Must be able to obtain site security badge for access to work site.

Level 2

• Requires a minimum of 6 years of related experience.
• Associate degree or related technical training preferred.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check, including verification of employment, education, and travel.
• Must be able to obtain site security badge for access to work site.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

Level 1 :

• Computer skills : basic / intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Database / data entry or Bechtel Standard Application experience preferred.
• Communication skills : candidate must be able to provide feedback to supervisor daily on work performed, and track tasks given by supervisor to completion.
• Candidate must be willing to interact and provide support to Craft Professionals, Field Engineers, and Superintendents for SETROUTE card printing, collection, and data inputting.

Level 2 :

• Computer skills : basic / intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Database / data entry or Bechtel Standard Application experience preferred.
• Communication skills : candidate must be able to provide feedback to supervisor daily on work performed, and track tasks given by supervisor to completion.
• Candidate must be able to manage multiple priorities, determine necessary sequencing of work steps, and forecast estimated timelines to complete tasks.
• Candidate must be willing to interact and provide support to Craft Professionals, Field Engineers, and Superintendents for SETROUTE card printing, collection, and data inputting.
