We are looking for a Manager, Corporate Accounting.

In This Role You Will:

• Oversee team responsible for the close process, audit, reporting and process improvement
• Ensure well-developed preparation and coordination of fiscal year-end audits
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close
• Ensure timely preparation and review of account reconciliations
• Manage and review critical high risk and non-routine journal entries
• Foster and advance robust documentation of Accounting processes, including purpose, procedures and internal controls across all journal entries and reconciliations
• Stimulate accountability and the meeting of deliverables
• Help ensure a competent, trained staff through regular assessment, goal setting and development
• Backfill for Controller as needed
• Finalize month-end for Controller and VP review and create relevant and timely Financial statements for internal management review
• Generate ad hoc analysis reporting, providing guidance and assistance when needed by management
• Maintain, implement and ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures
• Compose procedures, policies, and technical accounting analyses and memos as needed
• Work across departments to understand the financial implications of operational tasks.
• Identify and implement opportunities within Accounting and across other functional areas to support process efficiency and automation

Qualifications:

• B.S. in Accounting or Business required.
• CPA and/or audit firm experience preferred.
• 5 years of accounting work experience required
• Strong working knowledge of Excel – pivot tables, v lookup, sum if, etc.
• Prior experience with SAP preferred.
• Prior experience in consumer goods industry or inventory/cost accounting preferred
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
• Candidates based in PST states preferred.
