What can I expect as a Direct Support Professional?
· Flexible scheduling (full time, part time, 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts)
· $16.00 to $17.00 / hr starting pay
· $1.00 / hr (Competency and Longevity add-on if applicable)
· Medical, Dental & Vision (1st of the month after 30 days of employment)

· Paid Training! Onsite shadowing / cross training. You will also receive certification in: CPR, First Aid, DODD State Training and Medication Administration.

What will my day-to-day look like as a Direct Support Professional?
· Provide opportunities through the day to help residents meet their goals.
· Adhere to the person-centered plans, and behavior plans as written for each person.
· Provide quality of care and safe and healthy setting free from harm while upholding the rights of all individuals. Create a space of trust and relationship with all individuals.
· Cook meals as necessary for individuals based upon food specifications, diets, food exchanges and documentation.
· Transport individuals to and from scheduled activities or appointments, attend appointments, advocate, and obtain necessary documentation, when needed.
· Assist with supervision of individuals doing their laundry and complete facility laundry as needed.
· Administer medications as needed.
· Must regularly complete documentation including but not limited to: HPC service documentation, behavior documentation, communication logs, incident reports, medication documentation, mileage, etc.
· Must remain awake and immediately accessible in all homes requiring 24/7 care.
