Front Office Receptionist

South Florida Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

Location: 1025 Military Trail, Suite 110, Jupiter, FL, 33458

Job Description:

The Front Office Receptionist will be responsible for greeting patients, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and collecting payments. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, be detail-oriented, and have experience working in a medical or dental office setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
  • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to appropriate staff members
  • Schedule appointments and confirm upcoming appointments with patients
  • Verify insurance information and collect co-payments or payments for services rendered
  • Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience working in a medical or dental office setting
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
