The Role

Via the team of Sales Agents and with direct contact and visits with key accounts, the purpose of this role is to develop and increase sales in the showroom channel for our lighting and ceiling fan products in the USA market.

  • Develop sales strategies to increase the sales and profitability for Beacon Lighting America´s products
  • Manage agents / agencies associated with the showroom channel business
  • Maintain strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring regular visitation cycle and helping them to push the products
  • Develop relationships that foster long term sales growth
  • Ensuring new product release is communicated clearly to all customers
  • Analyse markets and opportunities
  • Prepare and present sales quotes / presentations to customers and potential customers, coordinating all information necessary for the process
  • Review customer’s product programs
  • Follow up on customers / prospects requests and opportunities
  • Prepare meeting reports and monthly business reports, sales analysis and forecasts
  • Provide product development input based on market analysis

About You

  • Previous experience in a Regional / District Sales Manager role, preferably in the lighting showroom channel
  • Able to effectively negotiate with clients to achieve optimum outcomes for all
  • Persuasive and can present a strong and convincing case
  • Initiates activities to drive sales
  • Awareness and understanding of competitor activity and takes appropriate action to remain competitive in the retail market
  • Understands margins and is able to balance the winning of business with sales profitability
