Our client, a large information services company, is looking for a Leave of Absence Specialist to add to their HR Team. This specialist will oversee and administer leave requests and work to ensure program compliance with the Family and Medical Leave Act.
The firm is looking for a professional who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
The role :
Independently interprets and administers leave programs and policies in accordance with the applicable federal and state employment laws.
Preserves confidentiality of employee documentation and ensures compliance with HIPAA.
Serves as the point person on leave requests and company leave programs.
Provides exceptional customer service to both employees and other human resource partners.
Maintains complete and accurate records of leave requests and supporting documentation.
Performs other duties as required to accomplish the objectives of the position.
You :
2 years of experience managing leave of absence cases.
Experience with Workday systems
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Demonstrates a basic understanding of federal and state laws regulating leave of absences (FMLA, CFRA, Workers Compensation, etc.)
