Our client, a prominent university based in Waltham, MA, is seeking a Museum Gallery Attendant to work entirely onsite, with a schedule of Wednesday-Sunday 10 : 45am-5 : 15pm.

This position pays $20.25 / hr and can start quickly. In this role, Gallery Attendants are responsible for representing the university with warmth and professionalism, welcoming visitors, protecting the works of art on view, and ensuring the safety of staff and public by strictly following security protocols.

The ideal candidate would possess an outgoing and friendly personality, exhibit confidence when communicating museum policies and information to visitors, ability to use tact and diplomacy when interacting with visitors and when resolving issues, ability to stand / walk and remain alert for duration of shift, ability to exercise initiative and good judgment at all times, and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
