We have a client in the Rochester area seeking a passionate and experience Director of Nursing to lead its clinical team, ensuring quality outcomes and support for its residents and families.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of nursing operations within the facility
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards related to nursing care
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote high-quality resident care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement resident care plans
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to residents
- Manage staffing levels and schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in nursing practices and technology
Qualifications:
- Valid nursing license (RN or BSN) in MN
- Proven experience in nursing administration or a similar leadership role
- Strong knowledge of resident rights and regulations governing long-term care facilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with staff, residents, families, and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to review documentation for accuracy and compliance
- Strong supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of nursing professionals
- In-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and sub-acute care practices
