BDP International is Hiring a Business Development Sales Executive Near Santiago, MN

The primary objective of the BDP Sales Organization is to ensure the growth of BDP International through the development of new business through flexible, tailored supply chain and logistics solutions. BDP International is looking for aggressive “hunter” field sales professional that will be responsible for consulting and selling international supply chain & logistics solutions to meet sales targets and generate revenue within the territory. The Solution Sales Executive will develop new clients by prospecting and responding to business development leads. In addition, the international sales professional will actively monitor and review customer global sales activity and make adjustments to processes and strategies as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sell profitable new key business within assigned territory by cold calling, cultivating leads and networking.
• Act as single point of contact for BDP Solutions and Service sales across Sea & Air Logistics business fields within the assigned territory and customer base.
• Obtain new "B" and "C" level customers through sales "hunting" activity, correctly assessing the prospective account as Profitable, Significant or Strategic to secure winning bids.
• Make customized presentations to various decision-making audiences to close new business by proposing customized supply chain/logistics solutions.
• Maintain and increase revenue streams with current key accounts in a specific territory, to include face to face visits, problem solving and administrative follow-up.
• Master extensive international knowledge of the BDP network and must use company tools, processes, and technologies to manage/grow territory and document activity.
• Conduct mutually agreed Quarterly Business Reviews with the customer and maintains close ongoing communication with customer and BDP Operations to assure expectations are satisfied.
• Ensure high post-sale satisfaction and positive long-term relationships.
• Collaborate with Sales and Operations teams to maximize sales and revenue growth within territory.
