BCL Search is Hiring a Human Capital Administrator at renowned NYC hedge fund (hybrid 4:1) Near New York, NY
Our client, a prominent, UK based hedge fund, is seeking a polished, ambitious and resourceful Human Capital Administrator. This person will work out of their Midtown NYC office and report into their Human Capital Manager (also based in NYC). This is a multi-faceted role where the successful candidate will assist the HC team with administrative tasks and learn the different parts of Human Capital while taking ownership of certain functions down the road. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced team and add to their success. The successful candidate will be smart, engaging and have a knack for the details! Responsibilities:
Heavy calendar management and scheduling or internal and external meetings and calls
Answer phones, direct calls and take messages as needed
Light travel arrangements
Processing of expense reports
Updating and maintaining their HRIS systems
Liaising cross departmentally with different hiring managers and colleagues
Assist with events
Operate with an extremely high degree of confidentiality and discretion
Assist with projects as needed (ie: learning and development initiatives, training sessions, performance reviews, data analytics/reports, benefit management, etc.).
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal
Keen attention to details, with superb organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to effectively multi-task
Strong sense of urgency
Entrepreneurial spirit - able to work independently and as a team
Tenacious and self-motivated to be excellent in everything you do
Creative problem-solver, flexible to attempt new approaches
Intellectually curious and eager to learn about the business
Strong proficiency in Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
