PROJECT MANAGER - FABRICATION
BayoTech’s hydrogen generation systems produce local hydrogen close to the application. This saves customers money and reduces the carbon intensity associated with the legacy challenges of liquifying and transporting hydrogen. This allows BayoTech to serve a diverse set of end users, including traditional consumers in the industrial gas and chemicals industries, as well as those using hydrogen to power the fast-growing fuel cell segment.

JOB SUMMARY
The Project Manager will organize, manage, and plan complex projects for the organization’s research, development, and product implementation efforts.
CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee sub-contractors to ensure projects are completed on time, to specifications and on budget.
Delegate work and assignments to team members based on expertise, work experience, and time constraints.
Align priorities between different project areas (Engineering, Procurement and Fabrication).
Outlines the tasks involved in the project and delegates accordingly.
Conducts cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project.
Manage the project by optimizing its cost within the budget.
Administrate the project according to the contract, managing potential changes and taking the decision to higher levels if necessary.
Plan and follow up the progress and performance of the project.
Conducts risk assessments, reports identified risks to management, and provides recommendations for mitigation of risk.
Addresses questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.
Acts as a liaison between company, customers, and vendors.
Maintain an adequate balance between quality, safety, cost, scope and schedule of the project.
Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical and/or civil engineering required.
Minimum 8 years of related experience required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadline.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn about the project or product being developed.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
PMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications are highly desirable.
Willingness to travel 50-75%.
