SECURITY TEAM MEMBER SUMMARY

Security Team Members will help lead the resort to the highest standards possible by working with the General Manager and Management Company to ensure resort operations are maintained outside of office hours by assisting guests, checking in late arriving guests, delivering wood and ice, responding to non-emergency telephone calls and texts from guests, resolving light maintenance issues, and patrolling the property to maintain a presence after hours. Through these efforts, Security Team Members will help our resort to be recognized as one of the brightest, cleanest, friendliest, and most profitable RV resorts in our region.

Reporting: Security Team Members will work with direct supervision of the General Manager and Security Manager, as applicable.

DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

A knack for providing excellent customer service with every interaction.

Passion for hospitality and the great outdoors.

Comfort working in the late evening and overnight hours, as applicable.

Ability to calmly and professionally assess a situation and make the best decision.

Ability to manage and prioritize multiple requests at any given time.

Physically able to lift up to 60 pounds, bend, squat, and reach.

Ability to work independently and get it done.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Service- Must be able to lead and interact with customer/guests and team members in a positive, pleasant, helpful and professional manner at all times. Outstanding customer service is a primary focus of Management Company.

Late Arrivals- Greet late arrival guests (guests arriving after the office closes) and assist them to their site or rental accommodation. Late arrivals may or may not have a reservation; ensure proper record collection of each guest type and report for the Office team.

Non-Emergency Responses - Receive and efficiently respond to non-emergency requests from guests, working to resolve each request in a thoughtful, efficient, and effective way. These requests may include but are not limited to: firewood and ice sales and delivery, noise complaints, facility issue, or unauthorized guests/persons onsite. In no situation should you ever put yourself in danger or risk of harm.

Ensure Working Order and Cleanliness - Routinely inspect open/available common areas and facilities to ensure all facilities are in working order and possess an adequate level of cleanliness after-hours.

Must exercise professional courtesy in all dealings with Public or Staff, including but not limited to:

Communication - Professional demeanor in all manners of communication on telephone, text, park radios, or communication devices, e-mail, and notices provided to Guests and Staff.

Dialogue - Courteous and respectful dialogue with staff in team meetings or individual discussion. Respectful and constructive dialogue with Public and Guests, the resort in the highest regard at all times.

Profanity - Refrain from the use of profanity, racial or sexual inferences, or disparaging comments in the presence of Staff or Public.

Support - Dutiful implementation of all assignments given by Superiors, with no dissenting opinions voices to Staff or Public.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, employee is frequently required to stand, walk, bend down, listen, verbally communicate, lift and carry objects up to sixty pounds, reach above their heads, push equipment and sit for long periods of time.

AUTHORITY TO PURCHASE

Security Team Members do not have an authority to purchase goods or services for the resort. Requests for supplies and other purchases should be submitted to the General Manager or Security Manager, as applicable.
