We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Solution Architect to join our team and play a crucial role in designing and implementing cutting-edge solutions for our clients.
*This position can be based from a home office in the US, or at our beautiful headquarters in Honolulu, Hawaii.
*Travel might be expected either to our headquarters and/or client and partner offices .
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Design scalable, secure, and robust software architectures for cloud-based applications.
- Lead the architecture and development of complex systems, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
- Utilize a diverse set of technologies, including but not limited to AWS, NodeJS, ReactJS, Postgres, Python, and Microservices, to architect innovative solutions.
- Lead and mentor development team(s) in implementing architectural best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of projects within scope and timeline.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and business analysts, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of best practices within the organization.
- Conduct regular assessments of existing systems and propose enhancements to optimize performance and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT-related field or relevant work experience
- Strong communication, problem-solving, self-organization, and teamwork skills
- Minimum of 6 of experience in software development, with a focus on architecture and design.
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect, with a track record of successfully delivering complex, cloud-based solutions.
- Proficient in a variety of programming languages, including JavaScript, Typescript, C#, and Java.
- Extensive experience with AWS services and cloud architecture.
- Strong background in Web/Mobile Application Development, Full-Stack Development, and familiarity with frameworks like NodeJS, React Native, ReactJS.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional is highly preferred
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven leadership experience in guiding development teams and driving successful project outcomes.
- Experience in enterprise solution, integration system solution implementations for public sector clients is highly preferred
