Beacon Veterinary Specialists, a well-established veterinary emergency specialty practice located in Fremont, CA, is looking to add a full-time Operations Supervisor to our team!
We are offering a competitive salary of $75,000 - $90,000/year (based on experience), ongoing leadership training, comprehensive benefits (health, pet insurance, 401K, etc), and a fantastic opportunity for career growth!
The successful Operations Supervisor will share our company’s commitment to delivering the highest quality patient care with exceptional client service by bringing a positive, service-oriented attitude as well as ensuring a high standard of client care, efficient workflow, and effective schedule management.
Schedule: Sunday - Wednesday 2:00 pm - 12:30 am
You’d be a great fit if you have:
Previous experience in an operations management role
Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience (Required)
High school degree or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in business administration, business, or related field (Preferred)
Experience managing floor operations for a high-paced service facility (Preferred)
Excellent client care and focus; ability to assess client's needs and provide answers, troubleshooting help, or methods for a positive client experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills with clients, staff, and other members of the patient care team
Experience in a hospital setting (Preferred)
Experience with staff scheduling
Your primary responsibilities are:
Anticipating and resolving service delivery issues
Partnering with managers across all operational areas to enhance service quality
Supporting the recruitment, hiring, and training of staff
Evaluating operational workflows and identifying areas for improvement
Ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures, and upholding the progressive disciplinary process as necessary
Assessing staff performance and providing opportunities for development and training in collaboration with the Training Manager and Clinical Services Manager
