What you'll doThe Food Service Host completes assigned functions within the department, excellent customer service, operates and maintains the dietary food equipment. Through constant interactions with customers, physicians, nursing, and visitors will provide efficient, courteous, and accurate service. Performs a variety of routine duties in the sanitation area of the Food Service Department.
Food Service Host also promotes meal assistance to all patients on a daily basis (Including meal selection, service and retrieval). Accurately serves food and beverage to patients in accordance with the patient’s diet prescription. Verbally communicates patient concerns with the clinical dietitian i.e. education needs, inadequate meal consumption, etc. Competently, uses dietary software for patient diet information, ordering and ticketing. Adheres to all cash handling guidelines.
