BasisPath Inc, is seeking a talented System Administrator with a strong focus on Linux to join our Prime contractor's dynamic team in Chantilly, VA. As a System Administrator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing the program's IT infrastructure, providing hands on support to implement baseline changes, troubleshooting supported software applications and equipment, creating and maintaining required documentation, and installing and setting up servers and workstations. A successful candidate must be comfortable maintaining operating system baselines utilizing configuration management tools and ensuring compliance with corporate and Government security standards.

Required Qualifications and Skills are as follows:

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and report software or hardware faults
• Deploy operating system level patches to factory systems
• Implement and manage disaster recovery and COOP plans, systems, and operations
• Generate ad hoc reports on health of software/hardware and management of user accounts
• Experience with the Linux operating system, bash shell, and scripting in languages
• Experience with Linux (Red Hat) System Administration
• Familiarity with security requirements for classified environments
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with favorable polygraph
