Under the direct supervision of the Customer Care Manager, you will be responsible for the entire order fulfillment process. You will follow defined Customer Care processes and procedures and serve as the BASF primary point of contact for customers.
As a Customer Care Account Specialist, You Create Chemistry By...
- Managing complex projects and timelines for Customer Care including organizing clear key deliverables, establishing and meeting deadlines, action item management and resolution, information sharing with stakeholders, decision-making, collaboration, and final presentation
- Developing and maintaining customer relationships for the North American customer base. Including providing consistent quality service and acting as a liaison for customers and external service providers.
- Effectively and efficiently managing order to cash process activities such as expediting, basic returns, back order monitoring, and zero-dollar orders, and remove obstacles that may impact customer requirements and BASF’s ability to satisfy them.
- Understanding and enforcing stated business rules and raise awareness to situations where a resolution requires cross functional coordination. Additionally, you will support training, troubleshooting, and offer solutions to customers including the eCommerce order stream.
- Participate in the interviewing process for prospective new team members, orientation and training for new hires and act as secondary trainer for new hires and mentoring of peers.Being a role model.
- Performing concise and timely accounts receivables reconciliation, as well as completing material availability inquiries and price discrepancy reporting.
- Possess a degree (preferably in Supply Chain Management or Logistics) and experience in customer service/supply chain,
- Are abile to interact with the customer in a helpful and friendly manner and to understand their needs
- Possess knowledge and understanding of supply chain processes and materials planning.
- Are familiar with Non-Conformance Management (NCM) processes, this will be a great benefit to you as you execute the process, including investigation and reporting.
- Demonste your strong problem-solving ability, as well as setting priorities and managing your time in a dynamic work environment
- Have robust analytical and computer skills (specifically MS Word, Excel, web-based applications, and awareness of complex order-to-cash processes within SAP),
