Barti Contracting is Hiring an Administrative Assistant/Data Entry Near Cape Coral, FL

Barti Contracting is seeking the right candidate for an Administrative Assistant position. The right candidate will represent our company and provide administrative support to the office and field teams.

Daily duties will include:

- Assist with answering emails and answering phone calls and texts.

- Inputting client selections into our construction software.

- Reviewing purchase order documents and reconciling them against owner selections.

- Communicating to field crews any issues that may arise and resolving them.

- Performing administrative tasks such as running reports for subcontractors, scanning, filing, and other duties as needed.

Job requirements are:

- The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and adapt to frequent scheduling changes.

- Excellent organization, as you will work on multiple software applications throughout the day.

- Excellent attention to detail, including proper spelling, capitalization, and grammar, as you will be representing our company in your day-to-day communication with our clients.

- A logical understanding of how to work with files in Microsoft and keep emails filed correctly, along with keeping jobs noted with all relevant correspondence.

- Excellent personal, phone, and email etiquette.

- Solid customer service skills, including a desire to help others and the ability to remain courteous and professional under pressure.

- Strong computer and internet knowledge, including at least intermediate skills with MS Outlook, MS Excel, and MS Word, and typing of at least 45-50 WPM.

- Punctuality and dependability to be at work. Start time is at 8:00 AM.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and profitability

- Lead and manage a team of construction professionals, providing guidance and support

- Oversee all construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget

- Collaborate with sales teams to identify new business opportunities and develop client relationships

- Implement process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity

- Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to meet goals and objectives

- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards

- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for materials and services

- Provide regular reports to senior management on project status, financial performance, and key metrics

Experience:

- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the construction industry

- Strong business development skills with a track record of driving revenue growth

- Proficient in profit loss analysis and financial management

- Demonstrated ability to implement process improvement strategies

- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams

- Strong sales acumen with the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities

- Experience managing large-scale construction projects from inception to completion

- Knowledge of strategic planning principles and practices

- Proficient in project management methodologies and tools
