Job Summary
B&A is seeking a seasoned Senior SAP Basis Administrator with extensive experience in managing SAP Enterprise Components (ECC), SAP Suite for High Performance Analytic Appliance (S/4HANA), Business Intelligence (BI), Portals, Process Integration (PI)/Exchange Infrastructure (XI), Business Objects (BOBJ), Business Warehouse (BW), Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC), Employee Self Service (ESS)/Manager Self Services (MSS), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), and NetWeaver technologies. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration, with a proven track record of successfully implementing and maintaining complex SAP landscapes.
Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain SAP system landscapes including ECC, S/4HANA, BI, Portals, PI/XI, BOBJ, BW, GRC, ESS/MSS, PLM, and NetWeaver components.
  • Perform system installations, upgrades, and patches, ensuring system availability and performance optimization.
  • Configure and monitor SAP systems for optimal performance, reliability, and security.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP Basis, database, and infrastructure components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support SAP application development, integration, and enhancement projects.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, including installation guides, technical specifications, and operational procedures.
  • Implement and maintain SAP security policies and user access controls.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the SAP Basis team.
  • Stay current with SAP technology trends and best practices to recommend and implement system improvements.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in SAP Basis administration.
Required Skills
  • CompTIA Security certification.
  • SAP Certified Technology Associate.
  • Overseeing SAP Landscape Management
  • Optimizing System Monitoring and Performance
  • Executing Patch Management and Upgrades
  • Performing Incident Management and Troubleshooting
  • Implementing Security and Authorization Management
  • Experience in System Integration and Interfaces
  • Experience developing and maintaining Disaster Recovery Plans
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Desired Skills
  • Experience with SAP HANA database administration.
  • Familiarity with SAP Cloud Platform and cloud deployment models.
  • Experience in scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or PowerShell.
  • Knowledge of ITIL framework and IT service management processes.
  • Experience with SAP Solution Manager for system monitoring and administration.
  • Prior experience in leading SAP Basis projects or teams.

  • Secret clearance required
