Position Description: 

• Provide C5ISR architecture-based processes, frameworks, tools, and architecture views/viewpoints.
• Write high-quality, scalable, maintainable code and enhance application security.
• Support verification and validation of architecture information to ensure consistency, interoperability, and integration of software.
• Review code, enforce coding standards, and ensure best practices are followed.
• Contribute to software security, Information Assurance (IA), and network defense engineering efforts.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and methodologies to improve software development processes.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management and quality assurance, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to ensure consistency and coherence in overall system architecture.
• Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and performance tests.
• Utilize MBSE tools such as Magic Draw and Enterprise Architecture for documentation.
• Analyze communications requirements, recommend equipment solutions, and enhance application security.
• Provide expertise in networking and IA activities related to hardware and software integration, verification and accreditation, and test and acceptance support.
• Develop, test, and deploy applications using programming languages, web services, and database servers.
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues.
• Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and changing project requirements.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
• Knowledge of database systems and data modeling.

Requirements

 Desired/Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with user representatives, and Army and Joint programs to develop and execute interoperability testing between systems.
• Experience with intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance software systems. 
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.

• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills.

Education/Certifications:  · Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or related field and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience.
