Position Name: Electrical Engineer III

Position Description: 

• Provide C5ISR architecture-based processes, frameworks, tools, and architecture views/viewpoints.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and datasheets.
• Apply standard practices and techniques in specific electrical engineering assignments.
• Specify, evaluate, and select electronic and electromechanical components.
• Create electrical systems, sub-systems, and prototypes for field deployable systems using fully customized designs, or adapter modules to connect to new and existing equipment.
• Design power distribution systems to include wiring harnesses and battery systems.
• Troubleshoot circuits and perform repairs as necessary.
• Perform fundamental engineering duties in preliminary designs, performing tests, taking measurements, and performing system analyses.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management and quality assurance, to deliver high-quality electrical engineering solutions.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to ensure consistency and coherence in overall system architecture.
• Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and performance tests.
• Utilize MBSE tools such as Magic Draw and Enterprise Architecture for documentation.

Requirements

• Experience working with user representatives, and Army and Joint programs to develop and execute interoperability testing between systems.
• Experience with the design and integration of electronics.

• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management.

Education/Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience.

Clearance Requirement: Must be able to achieve and maintain a DOD Security clearance.
