BILINGUAL OPTOMETRIST JOB DESCRIPTION

Barnes Talero Eyecare has been providing excellence in eye care since 2008. Our office in Nashville, Tennessee, supports a bilingual patient base, with an emphasis on vision and eye health evaluations, contact lenses, fashion eyewear, medical procedures, and medical billing. We have two exam lanes, an OCT, wide field retinal camera, Humphrey visual fields unit, along with a laboratory edger, a well-stocked optical dispensary, and a knowledgeable, well-trained, bilingual staff make this a wonderful turn-key operation for a bilingual optometrist who desires long-term growth.

We are looking for a talented and qualified Optometrist to join our growing practice at Barnes Talero Eyecare. We are a local, doctor owned and independent medical practice. As an Optometrist, you will be expected to use your skills and knowledge to provide high-quality vision care to our patients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Full scope eye examinations
• Identifying and treating medical diseases
• Prescribing corrective lenses
• Answering questions and providing advice to patients regarding vision and opticalissues.
• Directing staff and assist in the development of the overall practice.

QUALIFICATIONS

• State-licensed Optometrist
• Bilingual (Spanish and English)
• Possess an in-depth knowledge of eye related disorders, conditions, and treatment
• Customer service oriented
• Excellent analytical and communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
