What will you be doing?
Barclays Services Corp. seeks Front Office Software Developer (AVP) in Whippany, New Jersey
(multiple positions available):
•Participate across the full development lifecycle with project managers, business analysts, senior developers and testers and collaborate on delivering requested changes
•Understanding business requirements, coming up with a suitable technical solution and executing the necessary code changes needed for those requirements to be met
•Execute, test, and write unit/continuous integration tests to prove both the success of changes and avoid regression
•Understand and adhere to team processes and the control environment
•Contribute to discussions regarding system architecture and improvement of processes
•Provide mentorship and guidance to junior members of the team
•May telecommute
What we're looking for:
•Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Applied Computer Science, Engineering (any field), Math, Statistics, or a related field
•4 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation
•Alternatively, employer will accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Applied Computer Science, Engineering (any field), Math, Statistics, or a related field
•1 year of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation
