Banner Associates, Inc. is Hiring a Part-Time Administrative/HR Assistant Near Sioux Falls, SD

Description

Banner Associates is seeking a dynamic and versatile Administrative/HR Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service. Additionally, they will assist the HR department with various tasks and support the office with administrative duties. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment and gain valuable experience in both HR and general office operations. 

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, providing a welcoming and professional experience.
  • Prepare outgoing mail and distribute incoming mail.
  • Track office supplies and order as necessary to ensure adequate stock.
  • Maintain and stock conference rooms for client meetings, including setting up audiovisual equipment and refreshments.
  • Order and pick up meals for office social events.
  • Run errands as needed, such as banking or purchasing office supplies.
  • Print and scan documents, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist the Marketing team by registering team members for conferences and coordinating logistics.
  • Perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Assist the HR department with various tasks, including recruitment, onboarding, and maintaining employee records.
  • Perform other business office functions as assigned by management. 

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in HR or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Discretion and ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
Additional Information:
This position is part-time, 20 hours per week, with the potential for increased hours based on performance and business needs.
