Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including tracking stock levels, ordering new supplies, and monitoring usage rates.
• Supply Chain Coordination: Work closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of inventory items, negotiate pricing and terms, and resolve any issues related to supply chain management.
• Inventory Control: Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to minimize waste, loss, and theft. Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
• Data Analysis: Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and make data-driven decisions regarding inventory levels and ordering quantities.
• Documentation: Keep detailed records of inventory transactions, including receipts, withdrawals, and adjustments. Maintain documentation for compliance and audit purposes.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments such as maintenance, operations, and purchasing to coordinate inventory needs and ensure smooth workflow.
• Equipment Maintenance: Assist in maintaining equipment and tools related to inventory management, such as barcode scanners, storage systems, and inventory software.

Qualifications:

• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required. Additional education in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field is beneficial.
• Experience: Previous experience in inventory management, supply chain management, or a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with inventory software and data analysis tools is a plus.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines effectively.
• Attention to Detail: Attention to detail is crucial in maintaining accurate inventory records and identifying discrepancies.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for collaborating with team members, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to identify issues, implement solutions, and prevent inventory-related problems.

Skills:
