Job Summary:

The HR Operations Coordinator contributes to the overall success of the organization by ensuring a positive, inclusive, and engaging work environment, promoting employee satisfaction, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact and resource for all HR-related employee inquiries
• Maintain consistent practices with company policies/procedures and help align HR initiatives with business objectives
• Coordinate and participate in recruitment efforts for various positions
• Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with federal and state laws
• Foster positive employee relationships and provide guidance and support to all staff members
• Stay abreast of and comply with federal, state, and local laws and regulations
• Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism regarding all HR-related matters.
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in HR management, and make recommendations for continuous improvement of HR policies and practices within the restaurant
• Support the management team with various HR administrative tasks as needed.

• Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive matters

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or combination of relevant experience and education
• Proven experience as an HR Administrator or similar role within the restaurant industry
• Professional certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred

Pay: $23.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Human Resources: 8 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• SHRM Certified Professional (Preferred)
