AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Food Production
- Can ensure all menu items are correctly made and presented in an attractive manner.
- Utilized proper serving guidelines and carryover procedures.
- Has knowledge of and is capable to forecast food production and implement the Food
Production System.
- Has working knowledge of all recipes, products, production procedures, and timing.
- Follows opening and closing procedures – conducts stripping of coolers.
- Correctly receives and stores all product to ensure quality and freshness.
Guest Satisfaction
- Assists in guest satisfaction when dining in the restaurant with the purpose to increase guest count and build sales.
- Capable of running a shift in the Assistant General Manager’s absence.
- Helps create a hassle-free convenience for guests.
- Ensure catering and take-out guidelines are followed.
- Helps employees focus on guest’s experience and make decision based on guests needs.
- Leads by example - greeting guests with a warm and sincere smile.
- Acknowledges guests when entering and exiting the restaurant
- Handle complaints
Safety and Sanitation
- Maintain Health Department and Company sanitation policies and procedures to ensure all food is free from contamination and illness-causing bacteria.
- Has obtained/can obtain ServSafe certification.
- Maintains cleanliness in accordance with company standards- inside and outside.
- Maintains equipment in proper operating condition.
- Follows company safety program and ensures OSHA standards are being practiced.
- Can react to an emergency situation in a calm and methodical manner.
- Able to assist guests and employees in emergency situations.
Administration
- Can complete all daily paperwork for each shift.
- Follow all cash control guidelines.
- Improving restaurant operations against operating standards based on Shoppers Report scores.
- Participate in accurate physical inventory of food and non-food items.
- Complies with all corporate, government, and insurance reporting procedures.
- Forecast sales and communicate information to all levels necessary.
Human Resources
- Assist in recruiting job applicants to meet manpower staffing needs.
- Knowledge of and complies with all federal, state, and local laws and company regulations for dealing with employees.
- Ensures all personnel related information is reported to corporate office in timely manner.
- Maintain hourly employee’s records and file in an orderly state with all proper forms and records.
- Monitors days off for all hourly employees.
- Manages his/her staff by fostering and attractive, caring work environment.
- Improve employee attitudes that are not at a satisfactory level.
TRAINING
Our training program is conducted in Saint Louis, MO. As you progress through the program we can assure that you will learn the necessary skills to be successful in the position, you will know how to contribute and how we evaluate your performance, and you will know how to develop and advance within the company.
