We have an opening for a Seasonal Banking Associate. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable work experience in the banking industry and to learn about credit unions, a unique type of financial institution where our members are the owners. This position does not involve cash handling. No weekends are required.
Job Details:
This is a temporary position, beginning in May/beginning of June and ending mid-August
This position is available at our Towson location
This position requires 35 hours per week
The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm with a one-hour, unpaid lunch break
Job Duties:
Provides professional, prompt, and courteous service to members and Credit Union staff
Actively sells Credit Union products and services based on member needs
Services member accounts in-person and over the telephone by providing information and answering questions
Provides technical assistance and problem solving for online banking, mobile banking (both Apple and Android), Bill Pay, and other electronic services by providing enrollment assistance, password resets, and related tasks
Fulfills a variety of account maintenance and servicing requests, such as address changes, check orders, and stop payment orders
Processes direct deposit, payroll deduction, and automatic transfer requests
Orders debit and ATM cards and assists members with a variety of debit and credit card services
Complies with all applicable Credit Union policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
What You Need:
High School Diploma or GED
Customer service experience preferred
A passion for serving customers!
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to perform basic math functions
Proficient use of computers & Windows-based software
Basic knowledge of electronic banking products
Credit check and criminal background check are required
