Ballantyne Family Dental is Hiring an Associate Dentist, Part-Time Near Charlotte, NC
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Associate Dentist to join our dental practice. As an Associate Dentist, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages. This is a full-time position in our busy dental office.
Duties:
- Perform routine dental examinations, including checking vital signs and taking patient medical history
- Diagnose and treat various dental conditions, such as tooth decay, gum disease, and oral infections
- Administer local anesthesia and perform dental procedures, such as fillings, extractions, and root canals
- Collaborate with other dental professionals to develop treatment plans for patients
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care techniques
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic health record systems (Epic)
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in dentistry and attend continuing education courses
Experience:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid state dental license
- Proficiency in performing dental procedures, including restorative dentistry, endodontics, and oral surgery
- Knowledge of dental anatomy, medical coding, and medical records management
- Experience working with CAD/CAM technology for crown fabrication is a plus
- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry and providing dental care to children
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to patient privacy
