Job Summary:

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Using handheld scanners, pulls orders from warehouse, sorts and distributes orders to packing area.
• Packs order for shipment.
• Labels package for shipment.
• Moves labeled packages to staging area for pickup by respective carrier.
• Restocks supplies including boxes, bags, filler materials, etc.
• Maintains work area via light housekeeping tasks.
• Follows BTPS policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to operate various material handling equipment and mechanized equipment.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to operate computer to enter data.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
