Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position has direct supervisory responsibilities for all employees within the Finance Department.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Account Reconciliation
• Accounts Payable to include payment runs.
• Accounts Receivable to include dunning runs.
• Bank Reconciliation
• Fixed Assets
• General Ledger
• Depreciation
• Financial Statement Preparation according to IFRS
• Month-end closing
• Sales and Use Tax
• Tax Reporting
• Filing according to document retention guidelines
• Continuous improvement of streamlining accounting activities
• Utilize multi-tasking to manage all projects from beginning stages to completion.
• Provide detailed and timely communication regarding issues, comments, and concerns.
• Maintain professional knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; and identifying self-development opportunities.
• Ad hoc reporting
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Advance Excel, and Accounting related software
• Microsoft Dynamics Axapta knowledge
• SAP R/3 knowledge
• German language proficiency, both verbal and written a plus
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills, ability to interact politely with other people and build long lasting relationships.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in the field of Accounting and/or Finance; equivalent work experience
• CPA a plus
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supervisory roll
