Badlands Portland, a new LGBTQ establishment in the heart of downtown Portland, is in search of reliable and customer-focused Door Persons to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for greeting and screening guests, ensuring their IDs are valid, and creating a welcoming and safe atmosphere. While prior experience is preferred, we value individuals with friendly and assertive personalities, strong customer service skills, and the ability to manage crowds effectively. Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests as they enter the establishment.
• Verify the validity of IDs and enforce age restrictions.
• Monitor and manage crowd flow to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
• Demonstrate deescalation skills in challenging situations.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and securely.
• Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure the overall safety and enjoyment of our patrons.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist guests as needed.
• Uphold the establishment's policies and guidelines.
