Badlands Portland, a NEW LGBTQ establishment in the heart of the downtown Portland, is seeking experienced bartenders to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidates should have a proven track record in high-volume settings, possess food and alcohol certification, and be adept at handling cash, credit card transactions, and POS systems. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a wide variety of cocktails, beers, and other beverages with speed and precision.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including stocking supplies and cleaning glassware.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Utilize POS systems for order entry and payment processing.
• Provide exceptional customer service, engage with patrons, and offer recommendations.
• Adhere to responsible alcohol service guidelines, ensuring the safety and well-being of all customers.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and continually expand your mixology knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Previous bartending experience in a high-volume establishment is best.
• Alcohol and Food certification is required.
• Proficiency in cash handling, credit card processing, and POS systems.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Friendly, outgoing personality with a positive attitude.
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a commitment to teamwork.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
