Overview of Position for Machine Maintenance Technician involves an in-depth knowledge of various trades. In this position you will perform a variety of highly skilled maintenance work to maintain structures, electrical systems, heating systems, plumbing, machine repair, hydraulics, pneumatics, etc...

Essential Functions, Duties and Job Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment and machines.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing machines, cranes, hoists, forklifts, and other manufacturing equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all forklifts, cranes, perform filter changes and own trolley inspections.
• Work is subject to final inspection and check.
• Troubleshoot, program, re-program, and edit programmable logic controllers.
• Set up fill and operate specific machinery.
• Complete daily parts orders for Restraint, Test and Assembly Departments.
• Open and prepare facility for the day with all requisite needs (lights, vehicles moved, turn on equipment)
• Maintain stock supply of welder whips and minimal tool repair backlog.
• Complete material storage audits, and weekly facility safety audits
• Maintain shipping and storage yard organization to optimize efficiencies.
• Operate cranes and hoists; Drive forklift and maintain necessary certification.
• Special projects as they relate to product testing, Lean events, or other as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least three years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment or related field.
• Electrical experience.
• Welding and fabrication experience.
• HVAC experience.
• Requires one to three years of electrical or mechanical trades training.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
