BA Global Talent is seeking an experienced o*n-site Digital Communications Specialist* who will play a pivotal role in supporting DFC's digital communications strategy, focusing on managing the organization's external-facing website, coordinating digital marketing campaigns, and enhancing online engagement with target audiences.
This position will involve collaborating with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to ensure that DFC's digital platforms effectively convey its mission and impact.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with all aspects of digital communications efforts, including website content management, UX/UI advising, email marketing, and social media.

• Identify and propose updates to DFC’s public-facing website, manage website projects to ensure user-friendliness and search engine optimization, and collaborate with external vendors on UX/UI enhancements.

• Manage DFC’s website media library, including uploading and posting relevant materials such as Public Information Summaries, digital reports, and policies.

• Draft content for DFC’s social media platforms and analyze performance metrics to inform future strategies.

• Develop and execute email marketing campaigns, manage subscriber lists, and analyze campaign results.

• Coordinate with internal teams to draft and clear content for various digital and printed marketing products, including multimedia communications materials.

• Operate camera, video, and a/v equipment as needed to capture photos and videos for external communications.

• Oversee projects to ensure timely execution and adherence to established processes.

Qualifications:

• Education and Certification: Bachelor's degree in journalism, English, communications, or related fields.

• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in media relations, preferably in a communications or journalism role.

• Skills: Excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines; strong attention to detail; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• U.S. Citizenship.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

On-Site: Washington D.C.

Schedule: 9am to 5:45pm.
