About You

We’re seeking a resulted-focused, innovative, customer-centric and well-qualified individual to join our talented team as a Quality Control Technician. Based out of our Florida location, you will ensure that ECT products fully meet customer requirements by conducting inspections per IPC and NASA standards and following nonconformance and corrective action procedures per ISO Standards. Also, by training and advising machine operators on best practices and procedures that reduce quality errors..

You will:

  • Ensure that customers’ product requirements are thoroughly inspected and met by investigating and identifying nonconformance issues then analyzing quality issues with production personnel to determine root cause and deviations.
  • Report and document all quality incidents found during inspection by maintaining, reporting and recording all QC Inspection information and non-conformances in the Daily Quality Reports and MDI log.
  • Identify and process all nonconforming products by keeping the NCR log up to date, tagging nonconforming products, processing and managing repairs, scrapping, or other – within five business days. Communicating NCRs to the Quality, Production and Customer Service teams.
  • Implement 6S initiatives by continuously cleaning and organizing work and common areas, maintaining best working practices through the day, and at the end of each day setting up work areas meticulously.
  • Generate continuous improvement in quality initiatives by consulting with Operations and customers, researching market developments and trends, staying current with quality literature, and exploring training and development opportunities.
  • Prioritize return materials (RMAs) by allocating rework and ensuring all rework is inspected through Quality Control and documented and reported to the required standards.
  • Validate products meet or exceed customer expectations by generating, logging, and – under the direction of the Quality Manager / Production Supervisor – providing immediate First Article Inspection (FAI) reports.
