Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities for preschool and toddler care.
- Assist in behavior management and create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with the lead teacher in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for children with special needs.
- Assist in maintaining a safe and clean classroom environment.
- Support the lead teacher in observing and assessing children's development and progress.
- Communicate effectively with parents and provide regular updates on their child's development.

Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a preschool or daycare setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices.
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques for children with special needs.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with children with special needs.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
