Job Description Corporate Treasury is seeking a talented finance professional to join its BSIRR (ALM) Team. The Senior Finance Treasury Analyst will focus on balance sheet and net interest income forecasting responsibilities for different interest rate scenarios, stress tests, recovery and resolution planning (RRP), and other financial management processes. The role will be primarily focused on deposits and other liability side segments of Wells Fargo’s balance sheet. The team works in partnership with Line of Business finance teams, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), and other Corporate Treasury teams. Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Produce deposit and liability product forecasts for multiple lines of business to support comprehensive balance sheet and interest rate risk management Build a deep understanding of dynamics of the deposit and other liabilities product in different market segments, macro environment, competitor product and pricing and industry landscape Develop an understanding of line of business strategies, model assumptions, management judgement, and other drivers used to build projections and assess the results for reasonableness Perform a wide range of complex analysis related to balance sheet management, interest rate risk strategies and stress testing and make recommendations to more experienced group members and management Engage with liquidity risk management, capital management, financial performance management, and related groups to assess the intersection with deposit modeling and assumptions Ensure accurate recurring deliverables are completed timely, establish controlled processes, and support ongoing transformation efforts to improve and automate processes Execute highly-controlled processes including through execution of control infrastructure, model policies and usage, appropriate documentation, and interfacing with second and third line of defense teams to support effective challenge and audit responsibilities Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements The Candidate The successful candidate will possess: Demonstrated strong analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently, be highly organized, prioritize multiple tasks, and take on new challenges A strong track record of problem solving and critical thinking with willingness to engage in continuous process improvement Required Qualifications 4 years of Treasury experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications A BS/BA degree or higher in business administration, economics, accounting, finance, or other business related field Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Knowledge and understanding of financial analysis, forecasting and analyzing interest income and balance sheet behavior Experience with Essbase and/or SmartView and Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau or PowerBI Knowledge and understanding of asset liability or liquidity management software, especially QRM Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines Demonstrated effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to present and discuss information in a way that persuades others and enhances understanding at all levels.
