Job Overview:The Credit Analyst receives requests from new customers to establish a credit line through a platform or from existing customers to adjust their current credit line. The Analyst interacts in a timely manner with the customer to ensure the completion of a credit application in order to conduct background checks for customer’s credit standing. Upon approval by supervisor or Sr. Credit Analyst, the Analyst enters credit limits, updates the customer profile in the system and informs the applicant with the results of the credit status. The Credit Analyst shares with the Team the department queue phone line and mailbox handling timely daily issues, requests addressed by Sales, A/R or customers. Additionally, the Analyst monitors customer accounts on an annual basis and produces reports as needed. Essential Responsibilities:Processing business credit applications for credit terms account.Investigating, assessing, credit worthiness of applicants.Setting up open accounts with a credit limit and entering pertinent verified information on the account profile.Assisting and communicating with Sales, Marketing, A/R, financial institutions and businesses on ongoing daily issues and/or requests. Performing periodical review through scoring or requesting updated credit information on existing active accounts with high activity/volume.Directs customers to the leasing company and serves as main point of contact.
