Core Responsibilities: The Senior Email Marketing Manager will drive the development and growth of the email program across both B2C and B2B verticals. The role will oversee the day-to-day execution of all communications, as well as develop processes and strategies to ensure the channel is aligned with business objectives, integrated with other marketing channels, and consistently contributing to core KPI achievement. As our email marketing expert, you'll have the opportunity to join a fast-paced and forward-thinking integrated team and be responsible for producing engaging and effective email programs, expanding the sophistication of our CRM platform, and really driving results using the email channel. There are many opportunities to streamline our process, evaluate the current technology and directly contribute to results among a talented team of digital channel experts. Responsibilities
Own the execution of all email programs, inclusive of newsletters, drip campaigns, nurtures and one-time communications.
Proactively collaborate with product, brand and B2B marketers to develop content and calendars
Leverage email as a channel to convert early stage leads to qualified segments via hyper-relevant messaging, the right timing and sequencing
Educate the broader team as to the role of email in the customer journeys; help build the team's competence in using this channel for acquisition, conversion and repeat purchase
Partner with the performance marketing, UX and tech teams to quickly launch new landing pages, forms and other tests designed to guide and convert customers.
Identify new segments based on behavior and customer attributes (personas, geography, etc.)
Build out decision trees and flows for various segments based on engagement data
Partner with integration stakeholders to confirm data and flow are properly constructed and sustained against the customer journeys
Work with CRM platform vendors to find new and relevant ways of using the tools
Partner with the digital team on custom funnels, paid media tests, chat and SMS integrations
Own components of VOC and feedback, with responsibility for extracting and sharing insights
Help integrate and grow the use of SMS across various customer journeys
Coordinate a marketing calendar for launching & testing marketing campaigns
Project manage CRM initiatives, including promotions, launches, and loyalty program updates
Track and report on relevant KPIs, building dashboards to track the success of key initiatives and using data to inform the go-forward plan
Requirements
BA in Digital Marketing/Communications or equivalent work experience showing the knowledge and discipline of the job.
5-7 years digital experience with at least 5 in an email/automation/CRM specialty
Deep knowledge of HTML/CSS required
Proficiency coding and building HTML emails and automation with an email platform such as Pardot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign, or Responsys
Deep knowledge of marketing and sales CRM systems required
Pardot and Salesforce experience required.
Demonstrated ability to develop and optimize complex nurture campaigns
Experience with dynamic list segmentation
Experience with Google Analytics and Tableau a strong plus
Strong analytical skills with ability to read data and apply learnings
Demonstrated strong organizational and interpersonal skills required
Demonstrable experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, across geographies, including IT, sales and marketing.
Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills, with an eye for quality and attention to detail.
