Brief Job Overview

We are seeking an exceptionally analytical and detail-oriented individual to join our Sales Operations team as a Pricing & Program Analyst. This pivotal role will focus on evaluating and optimizing our Early Buy programs, with a specific emphasis on pricing initiatives such as Off Invoices and Rebates. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of sales operations, pricing strategies, and advanced data analysis techniques to the table.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Evaluation: Assess the effectiveness of our pricing programs, including Off Invoices and rebates, ensuring they are aligned with company goals and objectives. Provide alternatives or improvements as appropriate.
  2. Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze the performance of Distributor & Dealer Early Buy programs, evaluating their impact on new account acquisition, business growth, and revenue targets.
  3. Reconciliation Expertise: Verify the accuracy and effectiveness of pricing initiatives and rebate programs. Ensure that rebates provided to Channel Partners align with expected growth and revenue goals. Reconcile off invoice submissions from Distribution with Dealer programs and review end-user programming for accuracy.
  4. Data Management: Manage and maintain sales data related to customer programs, ensuring accuracy and consistency across various systems and platforms.
  5. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Distribution teams to gather insights and align strategies related to Customer programs.
  6. Reporting and Presentation: Prepare insightful reports and presentations to communicate program performance, insights, and recommendations to key stakeholders.
  7. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within Customer programs to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

  1. Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales operations, pricing analysis, or related roles within the manufacturing industry, preferably in building materials or a related field.
  3. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with expertise in data analysis tools such as Excel, Salesforce.com, Tableau, and Power BI.
  4. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  5. Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in data analysis and reconciliation.
  6. Adaptability: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
